Well, as I said, I am planning to start an X-wing blog, and LucasFilm didn't let me use a screenshot from the EPVII trailer (X-wings over water... ), so I had to improvise. Turns out, it looks very nice.

I just put the ion tokens on top of the ships dial.
Isn't that what the "Ionized" token is for?
Still, if it helps you remember...
Helps me remember not to bother even picking up the dial - compared to 2 little tokens either under the ship's shadow or down by the pilot card. You have to use the template next round, so why not have it right there.
I tend to ion token the dial. 
Thought I'd revive this thread now that Scum is out!

Tournament this past weekend where I fought another Scum user (150 pt. squads, he had 2 IG88s, I had 1):
Kavil is my favorite Scum pilot, and his new Y-Wing is probably my favorite paint job. It looks rugged and badass, like a Scum ship should. Some fantastic pictures being posted here. Loving the collection/haul pictures as well, people need to know that other people spend too much money on this game too and that everything is okay!
One of the things I really appreciate about X-Wing is that models are just plain gorgeous. They make for great repaints and customization, or great pieces for photo shoots or even to just sit on a shelf or desk. Enjoy this next photodump!

Yeah all that was around 30% of retail. And stil cheaper than what I droppped on 3 WH40K armies that were sold to purchase this LOL.

haha took a break from X-Wing for almost a year to play a backlog of boardgames that's just plain embarrassing.
