I present to you all the first of my player's character L'zadarma D'bro.

Very Nice. I'm always drawn to the social intelligent type, my own PC i play when not GMing is a Protocol Droid Slicer/Entrepreneur. lots of fun!

Nice Small quibble though, if this is a freshly created character then you can only go to Mechanics 2 at chargen, not 3.

Nice to see something well balanced that isn't a droid or a marauder.

Picture is nice too.

And you can buy a third rank in a skill after you've gained some XP!

Beginning PC with 50XP after character creation. I allowed the players to take their characters to 3 ranks in skills.

It's refreshing to see a character like this. For twenty odd years, all we've had is bad fanfiction where everyone's Original Character is some 'special snowflake' Jedi or Chosen One. We've had glowsticks, anime powerz and Space Ninja Wizards. And the 1% of Original Characters who aren't Jedi are smugglers or bounty hunters.

But then we had EoE, and all of a sudden, characters like Leia, Han, Lando, Wedge or Chewbacca were viable again. How nice it feels that you can make a perfectly playable character whose thing is simply being good with mechanics or computers.

WEG also blessed us with this way of thinking too. My D6 game had a Sullustan child, a Barabel shock boxer, a gear lovin' Bounty Hunter, a smooth talking commander who was attuned to the force, an old senatorial...the list goes on. SAGA and all the d20 variant made it not as much fun. So I agree Maelora, FFG brought the adventure back to Star Wars.

Padawan who within weeks of receiving her master fled into the underworld after Palpatine issued Order 66

Zax Wettega

Young smuggler who was thrown into slavery from a young age after his father became snowed under in debt. Now Zax works for the Hutts.

Nexus "6" Tyrel

Former Clone who was once part of a sect within the Republic Army who successfully removed their biochip. As the other Clones turned on their Jedi Masters, he, under the orders of his commanding Jedi General, fled into the Outer Rim with his Padawan.

Kyanite (KN-1T)

An advanced Aqua Super Battledroid with an alien conscious trapped within.

Arcz Blakeney

A scarlet pimpernel if you will, handy with a blaster, but more handy with the ladies.
