Just wanted to share a list I'm running today, playing against a new player. I call the list the Underrated, might not be that accurate (I do find all these ships in their set-up good, thou hard to use effectively)

Omicron Group Pilot (21)

Not really but I kind of like it.

Its pretty chunky and makes target selection difficult. You'll want to shoot the doom shuttle down, but the Defender and Prockets will give you fits.

Don't be too hard on the noob.

I run a somewhat similar squad I call "Attack of the Meat Shields"

32 shots to take the lot down(12 shield/20 hull). The DSP is shooting 4 dice at any range and the OGP can do red maneuvers and still have TL. PL is there to soak up hits and wreak havoc from the edge. Fun to fly. I'm flying this tonight at my FLGS game night.

I lost the game

Built a nice list for my friend and he crushed me dealing 6! damage to my poor advanced the first shooting round (2 direct hits). After that it just went downhill, he picked up the game in a few min and the 3 round he was barrelrolloing and boosting around like a pro. It was all over in under 50min with him keeping Biggs alive at 1HP under regened shields and Ibtisam at 3 HP left.
