FTS Gecko, that's dirty my friend.
has anyone thought of doing this with YT-1300 and YT-2400 with hv. laser cannon turret?
or 2 decimators?
not that I would do it in a tournament setting, but just for fun to see what would happen.

In a tournament, Can two ships from the same faction, purposely bump into each other so they don’t move, and do this turn after turn?
For example: two YT-1300. One does a K-Turn and the other bumps into the first. Round after Round they move 1-Straight, which doesn't clear the base of the YT-1300. so in effect they don't move again't the edge.
Is this allowed?
It's not illegal.
It's also not effective and not likely to win you any friends.
I'd recommend Lando for this...green straight maneuver -> action for one of them, at least.
That being said! I personally don't support Fortressing. It's very frowned upon by players, and viewed as an illegitimate strategy even though it's technically legal. I'd avoid doing it in a tournament setting unless you wanna piss everyone off
There you go. Plenty of actions while Lando and Han are having a sleep-over in their fortress of cheese:
Lando Calrissian — YT-1300 44
Tactical Jammer 1
Han Solo — YT-1300 46
Squad Leader 2
Kyle Katarn 3
Experimental Interface 3
Millennium Falcon 1
Fortress of Cheese.
That is the single funniest thing I have read on the Internet today. I tip my hat to you.
It's an effective tactic for 4-ship rebel builds to fight on even footing against a list with Phantoms.

Not really. Non turret ships can't get all their arcs pointed in all directions. If you approach along the sides you can overwhelm a couple of the fortressing ships without taking excessive fire back, and then it's pretty much all over. In the game at worlds he only won because of some crazy die rolls.
Although it´s legal, I think it crushes the game. I would create a rule that easily would solve this:
-"Each time a ship does not move in an activation phase, the maneuver is treated as red"
This way, you could only do this once. The second time your opponent would select your dials. Quick and easy rule to avoid that kind of play in tournaments

Except now you're unnecessarily punishing "appropriate" (for lack of a better word) use of bumping, and adding yet another reward to blocking ones opponent, all to kill off a tactic that is barely effective anyway. What is the point?

So if I block you in such a way that your ship doesn't move while you are stressed, I get to pick any move off of your dial that would make you move and isn't red that I want to?
The problem with any rules added to prevent fortressing is that anything short of just leaving it up to the TO to identify and deal with will catch situations that they aren't intended to prevent or be ridiculously complex. I believe the devs have even said that the reason they haven't done anything is that it doesn't seem like a big enough problem to risk breaking other things over.
The reason why I ask, is that I that a imperial build that I believe would be almost unbeatable using the Fortress maneuver. People tell me that the Imperials can't build a list that would work. I am 95% sure that it would work. I was wondering if I should use the build and prove it, or build something else for the tournament.

If you think you've got a fortress build that will win tournaments give it a try. Expect to not be a popular guy.

What is it? Maybe we'll see something you missed.
Is this list this:
Rear Admiral Chiraneau — VT-49 Decimator 46
Gunner 5
Mercenary Copilot 2
Ysanne Isard 4
Omicron Group Pilot — Lambda-Class Shuttle 21
Gunner 5
Tactical Jammer 1
Black Squadron Pilot — TIE Fighter 14
Wingman 2
Lambda parks, bsp bumps and clears lambda stress Decimator bumps with 360 arc to keep people from flanking. Set up in a corner. Flip the table.

Best fortressed damage output? Currently 3x Shuttles with Manglers, + Jonus.
Best fortressed action economy? 4x Blue + Advanced Sensors
Most explosive exit? Either 4x Sigma or 5x Interceptor.

This isn't the build, thou the Rear Admiral Chiraneau is the pin. but How effective is this build?
