Having 2 Stunned Pilots

I was just playing a game where a ship was dealt two crits and they were both Stunned Pilot cards. What happens when this effect would trigger; does the ship suffer two instances of 1 damage, taking 2 damage total?

If there's a page reference to answer this, I'd appreciate the info as well.

Critical effects provide abilities, just like it was printed on the pilot or upgrade. It just happens to be bad in this case.

Two instances of the same (non-action) ability will both trigger when the condition is met, causing the effect twice.

FAQ, Page 17:

Q: If a ship has more than one copy of the same card that does not require an action to trigger its ability, can it trigger all of those card abilities?
A: Yes. For example, when a ship equipped with two Mercenary Copilots is attacking, it can change two results to two results.
