Come on... no one pays retail for their games. You can get 25-30% off at lots of places. That brings the price down to $30. Besides, as long as we have been waiting for this, FFG could have gotten more for it.

Good thing my FLGS is also an online distributor so I can hit the best of both worlds .

I glossed over the "and much more" description in my initial assessment so this set could easily turn out to be worth the $40 msrp. I guess I was just looking at the Kingsburg expansion due out this next month for $30 msrp and wondering if I was paying a premium for a bunch of 15 mm plastic sculpts.

I, for one, am delighted! And for the price of a meal out with my wife, or a 1/2 the night at the bar with friends, or the cost of a night at the movies with the wife and kids, or one bucket of quality house paint, or an oil change, well... I'm happy to pay a mere $40 for a product that is going to give me hours and hours of painting and playing fun. Thank you FFG and Mr. Borg!
