Starship Repair Rules

This is a (mostly visual) redux of this excellent work.
It also includes this by Venthrac , which I love and thought I'd include.

Beautiful and useful, nice work. A "like" wasn't enough to commend the effort.

Brilliant.

Only thing I can say is missing (or rather, what I hope to see) is a slight extension of this in regards to upgrading/customizing vessels.

Right now hardpoints are very much just *hardpoints*; you can hook an entire new set of shield generators or a full new layer armor plating to a Corvette in hours with nothing but the materials and a workbench! So, shield upgrades, hyperdrive tweaking - all those things that are right now just available as simple attachments (like a scope or an extended magazine would be) but involve actual customizing and upgrading the ship.

Really I can't say anything other than this because it's a superb file already.

I totally agree.

It would make a great addition to this work...sadly, my skills are more design oriented than coming up with rules but I'd love to give it a go...perhaps you'd like to assist?

I can give it a shot.

I was thinking I'd add a few items to the "costs for common services" section, and wanted to get some feedback...

Landing Fee- 10-100cr

Berthing Fee (per day)- landing fee x ship silhouette

Customs Fee- 5% of cargo value

Manifest Discrepency Fine- 20% of cargo value

Visitation Fee (for non-residents)- 10cr

Hunting/Trapping Permit- 30cr

Restricted Weapon Permit- 50cr

Fuel Costs???

I updated the file...

Vehicle rentals might also include renting out critters. Dewbacks and such.

Very nice supplement, though!

nice. Tho I think the upper end of the repair times is a bit much especially if you are down to nearly zero hull trauma. I cannot see it taking a month.
