If you haven't seen any of my posts before we have a large group of fantastic Star Wars gamers and a great host at Pastimes. Currently we are supporting X-Wing, Star Wars LCG, and Imperial Assault for Organized play with Armada to come in 2015. We have two different structures for X-Wing organized play at pastimes. The first type of X-Wing OP is League play and the second type is Tournament play.

League play is scheduled for every Wednesday from 5-10 p.m. but league games can be played anytime during pastimes hours of operation. League play happens over the course of six weeks and only cost $15. Each week you play a Maximum of 2 casual games of X-Wing and record the number of games played as well as the result of those games. You can’t play the same opponent twice in a row and you score 3 league points for each game played and 1 league point for each game won. At the end of six weeks we will take the score of your best four weeks to count toward your overall league score. The top 4 players in the league will play off for the league championship and all receive prizes. League prizes include but are not limited to FFG League kit, store credit, special “League Champion” custom gamermats playmap, and League Champion Tee shirt. Additionally all players in the league will receive participation prizes, no one leaves empty handed.

Tournament play is scheduled for the first Sunday of each month Noon registration and 12:30 start time $10 entry. Tournament games are competitive games of X-Wing played over four rounds of Swiss with a pay out by record. Each Swiss round earns 5 points for a win, 3 points for a modified win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. At the end of four rounds of Swiss prizes are awarded by your overall record.

20 points (4 match Wins) = $45 store credit

15 points (3 Match Wins) = $20 store credit

13 points (2 Match Wins and 1 Modified Match Win) = $15 store credit

Store credit can purchase future events, ships, custom playmaps, sleeves and really anything in store.

Additionally players will receive participations prizes and prizes from the FFG League kit.

Our monthly event schedule for all Star Wars games is as follows...

1st Sunday each month X-Wing

2nd Sunday each month Imperial Assault

3rd Sunday each month Star Wars: The card game (LCG)

4th Sunday each month Armada (when it's released)

Lastly our Store Championship for X-Wing is Saturday March 14th 11 A.M. Reg. Noon Start. $10 Entry.

This is an old game that kind of Started Star Wars Miniatures table top gaming. Play Star Wars Epic Duels on a blown up version on the game using 3 ¾” action figures instead of miniatures. There is no charge this is open gaming feel free to bring your open copy of the game to this event.
