YT-2400 Freighter (30), Han Solo (2)

Wedge Antilles (32)

X-Wing (29), R3-A2 (2), Veteran Instincts (1)

What do you guys think of this? I'm considering swapping out wedge for wes but I think he would be too big a target due to Keyan synergy

Also possibly switch out Han Solo for stay on target on wedge

All opinions and criticisms welcome

Thanks

Hmm, I feel there's a couple problems for this list. It looks like you are really trying hard to have a good anti-phantom team, but you won't have a good matchup vs a large ship or a swarm.

One problem is the space fringer - he doesn't add anything to the list and also happens to be the hardest ship for your opponent to kill, which means of course your opponent can safely ignore him and take out your more effective ships first. Its not a bad idea to think about targeting priority against your own lists - generally, you want your most dangerous ships to be hardest to kill or else they are an obvious first target.

You can help alleviate this by either giving him a heavy laser or dropping him entirely and using the points for a-wings, z-95s or whatever.

Keyan w/ opportunist kinda needs Wes to work - otherwise you'll rarely get opportunities to use it (if his PS were lower, then it could work without Wes, because he'd more likely shoot after enemies so they might spend their focus on attack).

Wedge w/ stress droid & stay on target is a bad idea - double stressing yourself just makes it easier for your opponent to kill him.

My 2 cents... hopefully it helps!

Would something like this be better?

I love Keyan with SOT, but you almost have to put advanced sensors on for him to be able to take his action. Wedge gets very predictable with R3-A2 and assuming you're trying to shoot first against phantoms you're going to have a hard time against a VI Whisper, even if you have initiative as you're moving first as well.

I think in this build Corran is too expensive as he takes points away from your other ships. You could either maybe stick an A-wing in there instead, my favourite is Jake Farrell, or a couple of bandits. Gives you enough points to properly kit out Wedge and Keyan.

I'd think about giving Wedge engine upgrade and maybe VI or PTL, depending on how good you think you are at reading your opponents movements. Also maybe add a Droid that gives Wedge a bit more staying power. R2-D2.would be great but also expensive. Maybe an R7 astromech.

I've been toying around with R7-T1 on Wedge but the problem is you need to be in you opponent's arc. In this turret-heavy meta though, your opponent is less concerned with keeping you in arc so you're going to have to actively try to stay in his arc, which can be problematic. And if you can't manage to stay in his arc the droid's ability goes to waste.
