Is the maximum value to add is +3 since that is the most that most chars have that can match a card? or does it count EACH individual symbol that matches
ex:
my char has earth, life, death
tallying a total of
2 earth
3 life
and 1 death symbol would it be +6 damage?
or can tha maximum be the amount of symbols I have on my character which is 3?
last time i heard, doesnt matter how many times a symbol reoccurs in your card pool, it is still +1 dmg so your second thing is correct it would recieve +6. I find this incrediblely stupid
If it didnt work that way it would be incredibly pointless. They would have to errata it to be a free enhance just to make someone actually play the ability. But yes, every time a symbol you have appears on a card its +1 damage, so at the very least it is +1 damage for every card in your card pool.

i can think of worse cards that give like +2 damage for a commit besides its got that other awesome ability that lets you use any resource abilities
there are some cards that are, R commit: after you play an attack that attack gets +1. Thats ALL the card does
True, but then those cards are a) foundations, and b) commons. As oppose to a promo we had to wait 13 months to get.
