I need to work on my flying Phantom skills. Sometimes I do beautiful things, sometimes I smash into things clumsily.

Thoughts on running this idea competitively? The added bonus purpose being that if I only have the two fighters, both Phantoms, it's a sink or swim sort of situation, live or die, trial by fire, and I think I learn best under those circumstances.

Being only to two of them, I think Buzzsaw-pattern's the way to go to maximize offensive capability.

I would take off a gunner so you could fit in a decent interceptor pilot. But otherwise saw away.

That's not too far from a list that several people did well with in one of the Kansas City area Store Championship tournaments. If I recall, 2 of the top 8 ran it at just 86 points and the guy who took first added an Academy TIE to the list.
