Just got an email from Wayland Games shifting Armada's release date from 30th Jan to 27th March. (All the wave one expansions have slipped to this date also). Combined with Amazon's order date of early March I think this rules out a February release now

At this point, I don't think there was every any chance of a Feb release.

You can pretty much count on it being 8 weeks from the time it's updated to On the Boat before it hits stores. Right now the earliest I'd expect to see it is mid to late March.

I'm not surprised about this, but I don't think that Amazon has any real insider information that is really all that much more in tune than what we learn here from the Upcoming pages.

But maybe I'm wrong. Do you know differently?

Its really all guesswork. As i previously mentioned, i wouldn't trust Wayland Games even if they literally put the product in my hand (burnt too many times), so i'll just go with "whenever".

I'd like to see the face of the Wayland sales rep when he's handed you the product and you say that you still need more proof.

The Armada dice are shown as being on the boat. It would be a cruel twist of fate if the dice arrived before the core set .

At this point I'm just hoping the release doesn't slip into Q3.

Just yesterday according to Waylaid Games site in Google search they listed Star Wars Armada as In Stock, obviously its not, what crock in a sock.

This is sadly not unusual for Wayland.

Im guessing Wayland is putting the release to end of March to have some "certainty". Q1 would mean end March at its latest. I'm still hoping for end of february however I wouldn't bet on anything except for a bit of breathing room for my wallet.

You have no idea I feel for you though as I'm in exactly the same boat, I really should spend more time on home work and less on this forum...

It's times like this i am glad the Force isn't real and I don't have a entire Clone Army at my beck and call. Because I would send in the Army to make sure the "Correct" ships are getting manufactured. As for the force that's for dealing with crazy drivers who think 55 on a 75mph highway is correct.
