Is this new? Haven't seen it around...
it's the M3-A dial. found it by URL-fishing
You call THAT an Interceptor dial? ![]()
Seems like a lot of the new dials are heavy on white maneuvers.

I would find space for the hot shot blaster rather than ID with this list
you could pair torkil and palob, for a 17 inch ball of what will basically be HLC shots that can land crits. predator to palob for further nastiness.
a double HWK build? what have we come to?

The point where the HWK starts being good.
i mistakenly added predator to palob in my last post, but to get the hlc effect i was shooting for he needs opportunist, and then a nice way to clear stress.

How are you getting HLC levels of damage from those guys? Opportunist?
Mux doesn't get an EPT.

That's not really possible since Hot Shot Blaster is 3 point while removing both ID is only 2 points.
The point of this build is to catch twice the most elusive ship on your enemy fleet and it dies without a chance since you get at range 1 two sure hits (can get up to 3).
Is it just me or is Mangler Cannon already super OP. I mean think about a Mangler Cannon on an Outrider. That's 1-3 that could fire from anywhere and stick you with Crits. I feel like it's too cheap considering HLC is just one more die, but sticks you at Range 2-3 and costs three more points.

Everything is already super OP. Mangler Cannon had to come out of the box super OP to keep up.

No Palob just needs a K4 Security Droid to get a free target lock when does a green maneuver to clear his stress.
That way he'll have 4 dice with TL and Focus on most turns he gets to shoot.

here's the full list i just built, for funsies
mux, ICT
Palob, oppo, blaster turret,
syndicate thug, ABT, unhinged astro, btl-a4
n'dru suhlak, proton rockets, lone wolf, engine upgrade
you make n'dru fly solo, he becomes an x wing that gets prockets, and remains deadly afterwards
the other three fly in a loose formation, mux drops PS, and ions the target, palob and the Y fly just behind to unload. if the target is a tad squirrely, the y can do 3-hards to catch more ships in arc, while palob flies slowly to ensure he can land hits for multiple turns.

i like this too. hwk's are gonna be powerful support ships, instead of merely decent support ships.

I think Mangler is at a good price point. If it was any more expensive it would be hard to justify.
Ships that already have three attack are essentially getting better odds at range 3 and a Mercenary Copilot that works at all ranges. In most cases they'll use their primary attack at range one (unless they benefit from something like Jonus, or IG-88B's gunneresque effect).
4 modified dice is brings a lot more wreck than three do, even if the 3 dice attack changes a single hit to a crit.

They were never not good. They just take a while to get used to, the same way the Lambda does, and just about the time they would have started getting some traction in the metagame everyone went YT-crazy.

It's just you. Only ships with 2 Attack or with some special benefit with respect to crits or secondary weapons really want the Mangler Cannon; that's Ten Numb, Imperial Kath Scarlet, Krassis Trelix, the YT-2400, and the Scyk. Ten and the Imperial Firesprays are already a bit expensive for what they do, the Scyk needs a sold-separately title in order to use it, and the YT-2400 needs the unique and relatively expensive title in order to use it as a turret.

Leebo w/Mangler + Outrider is a point more than Chewbacca (I used those pilots as a comparison because they are the same PS). A 360 Mangler gives about the same capabilities as the primary turret on the YT-1300. I'd say that they've got the pricing about right on that cannon.
I'll be honest, I'm a little disapointed.
No hard 3 and straight 5. At least it has the 1 bank and k-turn 5.
It's a good dial, I guess I was just expecting a little more...

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Not a 'bad' dial in any sense, but definitely not what one would expect from an 'interceptor'. I guess PtL isn't much of an option.
That dial is disappointing. Not a cost effective dial and having to pay the title tax for all the bells and whistles is starting to make this ship look like a dud.
A tie fighter with 1 banks, 1 PS, and can TL for 2 more points? I don't get it.
Tie fighters can't take a title & spam cannons.
ion cannon swarm anyone?
That's paying 7pts for an ion cannon.
As it's been stated before, the Scyk is an outdated model and it's reflected in the dial.
