I really like the idea of a new starter set with 3 factions. I don't think $50 MSRP is out of the realm of possibility for an x-wing, 2 Tie Fighters, and a Starviper (or one of the other iconic Scum ships)
I'd also like to see some components for sale - damage deck, cardboard maneuver templates, etc. The components I keep using up and having to buy new starters for. I eventually went with an acrylic set of everything, but I like the way FFG currently distributes those items as prizes. I agree with the person above who said its great they have such awesome customer service, but I'd like to support them as well if I mess something up. And ship stands!
I would LOVE to see an actual battlefield published by FFG for this, starfield on one side and death star on the other. I was hoping those tiles would have been it but I imagine they're too slippery for good play. I had to build my own board and it has definitely withstood the test of time, but its also a bit cumbersome to lug around.
