Autoblaster needed a boost and even then it is questionable.
HAHA, I tried using Autoblaster with Dash, Engine Upgrade, and PTL. It didn't work out the way I wanted unfortunately. One of those things that looks great on paper, but does poorly whem implementing.
So if i understand this right if I had autoblaster on Ten Numb an Rolled two hits an a crit then my opponent can't stop any of it?

More than likely he'll be scowling from outside of range one so that you can't use your expensive cannon with a range one limit though.

I dunno. When I first tried an Autoblaster, I got into range 1 and rolled three hits, my opponent rolled three evades and smiled smugly - until I told him they couldn't be cancelled by dice. The look on his face was magic. Got him another couple of times during that game.
If your games tend to gravitate towards "close up and personal" melees, the Autoblaster can be quite nasty.

Rexlar Brath would be fun to run with Autoblasters but he'd be really expensive and I'm not sure that he'd be all that good.

You're thinking about Maarek Steele. Rexler has decent synergy with Autoblaster if you don't focus to convert hits.

It's also 8 points and only works at range 1, where the only ship that can take this combo is likely going to force damage through anyway. There are better things to be doing with your points and upgrades.

Shuttle, B-Wing, and soon the Aggressor will be able to take the combo. It's still way too expensive for what it does.
It is more costly than the utility it provides and is fairly difficult achieve consistently.
The only Pilot I consider it useful on is Nera Dantels with these additional upgrades Deadeye + Flechettes + Failsafe. And tbh I'd rather take an Ion over the Autoblaster.
If a ship was the HWK's price with Sensors + Cannons I could see the 8pts being worth it's cost on a carrier that priced.
