Recently I have been loving a build with EI+Expose+YI+Rebel Captive on the Rear Admiral. My local meta has not really adapted yet, but I fear when it does. With more and more subtle control like Mara, Rebel Captive and soon the new S&V stress cannon, I have to ask is PTL and EI dead?

The new stress cannon is not an issue for PTL and EI users. Against them it's just an attack that caps at a single point of damage. It does give a stress token to anything that already has a stress token. Mara Jade also doesn't do anything if you've already got stress.

Rebel Captive, Tactician and R3-A2 are pretty much all you need to worry about.
