My plan is to do as much unavoidable damage as possible while completely throwing the other guy off his game. There isn't a heavy Falcon meta, but this is the Championships so they might break the old scoundrel out of mothballs for the occasion. If that happens I know I have a long day ahead of me, but I'm hoping to be able to be competitive otherwise.

not sure Id put EU on Oicunn because you cant boost into somebody. maybe put it on the doom shuttle for more manuverability and ability to sustain fire for more than a couple of rounds before making the wide swinga round the map. looks funthough

Correct me if I'm wrong but Obsidian is not an Elite Pilot so it can't have DTF. I think you meant Black Squadron with DTF/Shield which would make your squad total 100 pts.

Oicunn looks good but if you get 3 or 4 ships shooting at him he'll be gone in a couple of rounds and you're down 57 points. Having MJ and IA on helps you get rid of crits which can be very helpful.

Just a thought though - How about:

Oicunn with Determination+MJ+IA+RC+Dauntless 51 points

OGP+DV(doom shuttle) 24 pts

Turr Phenir 25 pts

Turr can do more damage and boost out of the way if you plan it right.

Determination will take care of all of the pilot crits so MJ,IA and RC can be used to get rid of 3 Direct Hit Crits.

If you didn't do a green maneuver before you bumped and you had DD you'd be taking 2 stress tokens then you can't double bump next round and no actions anyway. If you just bump, take target lock and had a green maneuver - no stress and you get to do it again next round plus have target lock on another ship.

Yeah, I meant Black. I love Determination on the Decimator, but I can't help but love the look on their faces when you double bump them. What if I drop the Shield Upgrade on the Black and use Yorr on my shuttle? That will also let me swap IA for MCP or Mara Jade. Hmm...

I'd leave IA on. It is a cheap card to discard to get rid of a crit instead of using MJ or RC. I used Mara Jade in tournament recently and it was not very effective. If they are already stressed it means nothing. RC is good against Whisper.

Yorr would be a good addition to keep with Oicunn to absorb the stress. I'd take off shield and add enhanced scopes to yorr so you can get where you want and do actions so you don't bump. Will also help you remove the stress tokens that Yorr accumulates.
