Cadian Sector for a 13th Black Crusade Game

By drucchi, in Rogue Trader

So i had this idea for my Rogue trader group, they said that they wanted an epic conclusion to their campaign, so i had the idea of running the thirteenth black crusade in rogue trader. I have some ideas running about on how to do it, (involves using the Black crusade rules from The Tome of Decay) but i need a map of the Cadian sector. Do anyone here know of such a map? I know that there is one of the scarus sector, but i haven't seen any of the Cadian sector.

Also how would you go about doing something like this?

A map like this ? There's also maps such as these , which I think come from the Battlefleet Gothic game - detailing specific Warp corridors linking the individual worlds within a specific sector, which might be useful if you wish to steer your group's travels. As for the 13th Black Crusade itself, I'd recommend checking the campaign's history in archives such as this one , where you can read up on the various updates and background that was published in White Dwarf as part of the event.

Also, if you can get your hands on it, a copy of the Codex Eye of Terror.

In terms of a general plot, I suppose it would depend on how exactly your Rogue Trader and their inner circle are like, because their characters and connections would open up different angles regarding their participation. For example, a Ministorum cleric could urge the Rogue Trader to assist with Saint Joachim's crusade and help provide passage for a couple thousand fanatic militia warriors (which would bring all sorts of trouble onto the ship). Of course, you could also go for a less personal approach and have one of the Imperial Adepta attempt to pressure the Rogue Trader into helping with the war effort in order to repel the hordes of Chaos.

The campaign itself could jump back and forth between various different foci, from capital ship battles with renegade cruisers to personal combat when the ship is boarded or your heroes get caught up in a planetary battle or an attempted assassination on the life of one of them or their allies (perhaps the assassination even succeeds, and the player characters now find themselves suspected to be agents of the Ruinous Powers). Perhaps the players happen to be discussing wartime economy in Hive Siana in the midst of a Zombie Apocalypse ? Or how about some diplomatic challenges when various parties (represented by fiercely independent and proud individuals ranging from the world's Imperial governor, to a Space Marine Chapter Master, to a Ministorum Cardinal, to an Inquisitor, just to name a few examples) meet to fortify an Imperial world in preparation for invasion, and it's up to the Rogue Trader as part of the war council to keep the alliance from breaking apart?

Just to throw a few ideas out there. The 13th Black Crusade may be a military campaign, but there's all sorts of opportunities for semi-civilian Rogue Traders to get involved!
