I played 100pts list

E-wing Corran + FCS

E-wing Etahn + PTL + R2

A-wing proto + chaardan

Z-95 Bandit

It was good, A and Z blocked enemies, Etahn did upgrade for every shot of my fleet, Corran did double taps.

But now I think to try drop z and put more addons to E's.

For example

E-wing Corran + FCS + VI + R2d2 + engine upg + flechete

E-wing Etahn + PTL + R2

A-wing proto + chaardan

or

E-wing Corran + FCS + VI + flechete

E-wing Etahn + PTL + R2

Z-95 Bandit

Oooh, man, I love the original list - I do think that adding Engine Upgrade on Corran is pretty great, but the variety that the two Es, the A and the Z give you is outstanding. I'm not convinced that a Flechette is really worth dropping anything you already have.

I think that having the choice, I would drop the Headhunter(s) instead of the A-Wing. Here's an idea:

Corran (R2-D2, PTL, FCS)

Etahn (R2 Astro, PTL)

Green (Chardaan, PTL)

100 points

So, not really going for the blocking strategy here, but each ship would be harder to hit (Focus + Evade each turn, or Barrel Roll with the E-Wings). And half of the A-Wing's dial is green, so it goes very well with PTL.
