This is a another take on using Admiral Chiraneau, probably one of the most effective (and most visually striking) ships in the game right now.

The Admiral is geared toward consistent damage output combined with reasonable survival possibilities.
PS 10 will allow him to move after and shoot before almost anyone else, including those pesky Phantoms. Rebel Captive makes him hugely annoying to shoot at and the combination of Ysanne and EU build survival into him. Gunner is there to compensate for lack of actions if using EU.
Fel is also PS9, making him likely to be able to pick and choose his targets and with 5 hit points, is actually a real pain to kill even with a turret and his high maneuver count makes him priceless vs non turret ships.
The one question I am still pondering is do I take Determination on the Admiral over VI?
