Which works better, going to a tourney on Sunday.

I would suggest a Mara Jade on Omicron stress bomb shuttle if you think you will face significant swarm action.

Definitely not gonna see a lot of swarms, I like stress bomb though. Are the Omicrons really as maneuverable as I think with this combo? It works well in casual games the cross arcs mean someone should have a shot on a phantom, should it rear its head. they're also great blockers... or am I pie-in-the-skying this?

They're extremely maneuverable with the Engine Upgrade. Also, Advanced Sensors would allow you to boost before either stalling for blockage or the plethora of red maneuvers on the dial. An AS boost in the direction you need to go followed by a red hard turn in that same direction will easily get you back into the action if you overshoot for a turn.

Also, with two large ships you can utilize bumping to your advantage. If you can eyeball the angle one OGP may bump into another after going along the maneuver template, you can purposely bump to keep an enemy ship in firing arc.

I think you might have trouble keeping Vessery out of range 2 of both of those shuttle often enough to make Lone Wolf worth it.

Lone wolf is more for mid-late game after one shuttle has bought it. also because there's only 2pts left for an EPT although now that I'm thinking about it wingman might work, all those red maneuvers and all that, hm. I'd rather take outmaneuver, though, maybe when mangler comes I'll slap that on him instead of the HLC.
