Hello. I picked up a copy of the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook today from a local Forbidden Planet store, but when I got home I noticed that four pages were completely blank. The pages which are blank are:

50 and 51

&

54 and 55

What should I do about this? I tried Googling to see if anyone else had experienced this issue with the book but I couldn't find anything. Do I simply return it to the store I bought it from? Contact FFG directly?

(The barcode has SWE02, I'm not sure if that refers to the book as a second edition or something, I can't seem to find a print date anywhere else in the book)

Okay, will do. I can't return to the store before Friday anyways, so I'll just see what FFG suggest to do in the meantime.

Right. I heard there were two prints/editions of this book or something, so I figured that's what the code referred to. Is there any way to identify which print/edition of the book it actually is?

Ring the store if possible, you may not have the only book missing pages. They should be able to put one aside and as long as you have the recept swap them over.

I'll probably be getting a refund in the most likely scenerio, this was the last core rulebook they had on the shelf. The only other Edge of the Empire books they had were things like Jewel of Yavin. They might have more in the back to swap with, but I doubt it. (They usually have the shelves completely stocked at Forbidden Planet)

Give FFG a shout as mine are printed

Take it back to the shop. They will replace it.

The last time someone on these forums contacted FFG about a faulty book it took longer to replace than it would have taken the shop to order a new one.

The time it takes will mostly depend on availability at the distributer.

Forbidden Planet is in London (at least the store I know of, the 18 hour airplane ride has me shop elsewhere mind), if this is their last and they refund then maybe try some of the online stores in the UK, Wayland Games comes to mind. Here

As a Wargamer I have heard nothing but horrow stories about them. And the ONE time I ordered from them, they couldnt deliver, and I had to ask them MYSELF where my item was before they told me the couldnt deliver.

I had to scramble last second to find another supplier.

I did an order with them as they had the Adversary Decks. It has been about 6 weeks and they haven't sent them out. So I will have to agree, don't go within 12 parsecs of them.

Yup, 1919NOV13. That's not a heck of a long time between printings.
