Arvel blocks or crashes into the designated target, and everyone blasts it apart at -1 agility. Garven can shoot first and pass Arvel a focus for his own 3-dice attack. Hobbie can stress the target for more predictable movement on the next turn, and Gemmer acts as a backup Intimidator who is trickier to take out at close range.

The main part of this list that I'm unsure about is Gemmer. I'm debating trading out his Intimidation for the more traditional PTL, or dropping him down to a Green Squadron and losing Garven's R2 to make room for Proton Rockets on Arvel.

Seems fun. I really like flying Gemmer, even though he seems to always fail me lol.

Does intimidation stack?

Does intimidation stack?

As far as I know, yes.

That avatar and those ships and you're not calling the list "AXe-Men"??

Really great synergy and planning - it seems like it might be wasted a bit against some of the big ships (mostly the Decimator). Do you think the A-Wings can really catch up to a Dash, though?

Ha, it's actually saved in the squad builder as "Battleaxe Squadron". I just went with a more descriptive name for the thread.

Thanks, and yes, the Decimator is an issue for this squad. Especially Decimator + Phantom squads - I probably wouldn't take this list anywhere near a tournament until that trend runs its course. But I'm not as worried about Dash. I haven't played against it yet, but the typical Dash + PTL + Kyle is pretty much locked into its green maneuvers, which should make it relatively easy to block. And I imagine Dash really wouldn't like getting hit with R3-A2.

R3-A2 pretty much ruins Dash's day. I've been throwing it on any list I build with an astromech slot.
