It can project at over 300 feet though. So there's that.

Most laser levels are red and very dim.
I like the stand for it. I have to think that makes it much more usable irl. My main complaint with laser lines (besides that some aren't even straight), is that a small shake in the hand changes it from in arc to out of arc... but at the same time, you only need them when it's too close to call otherwise, so it seems kinda pointless. But this with the stand! Now you can line it up on the table and see for sure with no shake!
