I searched but didn't see this.

So if I have predator and a focus, I roll 3 attack dice, and get 1 hit, 1 focus, and 1 miss. I reroll the miss using predator, which is another miss. So I re-roll the miss using target lock and get a focus. then I spend the focus and make the 2 focus hits, so I get a total of 3 hits, correct?

I wasn't sure if you could re-roll a re-roll?

You can never reroll the same dice twice. After rerolling the miss with Predator, that's it. It's a miss.

It should be pointed out, this refers to each individual die. If you roll 3 dice; a, b and c and reroll c with predator, you cannot reroll c again but you could reroll a or b if you wanted to for some reason. There aren't many reasons why you would ever do that, but there are a couple.

So really predator is kinda a waste on Vessery. I could put a hull upgrade instead.

If someone else has a lock on Vessery's target, then you'll get the target lock as soon as you roll, and you can use it. So, Predator does become a little redundant in that sense.

YEah Predator is a bit redundant with Vessery. Outmaneuver might be nice with him.
