I don't know creative outlet, more options, killing time, enjoyment, trying to use extra figures, I like male characters. what does the "why" even matter.

Edited by ryolacapI would be interested in alternate figure cards and figures as well. There are only 2 female characters right now. I play with a group that has 3 women in it. And if they want to play a female character they are limited. And one of them is stuck playing a male.
Also if a guy wants to play a smuggler or a jedi they have to pick the female characters. A male/female option for every character would be awesome.
In fairness the wookie COULD be female.
So could the Bothan. The Chagrin looks pretty male on the box art too.
use WOTC star wars minis to do the gender swap...print out an appropriate picture and slap it on the card.

This.... Personally being male, I rather have more female options. But if you must have an all male cast the above is your best option. just change the gender and use a different figure. WOTC has pretty much all you would need in that regard. The cards are also simple enough to print out with minor changes.
Just buy a wotc mini if you really must have a gender swap.
