So, I haven't gotten my Wave 5 yet as I ordered it with a bunch of S&V preorders. They will all ship at once. What I'm looking forward to is using Stay On Target with Porkins. I love Porkins and think his ability is fantastic when combined with his astromech. Yes, there is an 11% chance that you take a hit. I'm willing to risk it, though. Sure, maybe this list isn't the most insane competitive, but I want it to have a chance and be fun.

I could swap Dutch out for a regular Y-wing and drop "Hobbie" for Wedge w/ Predator and R2.

Any list with Dutch, I immediately approve. Best list ever, 10/10.

I especially like in this list, that Hobbie can K-turn, and take a stress. Dutch moves, performs a TL and passes a TL to Hobbie. Hobbie clears stress. Hobbie fires, takes a stress to give stress. Spends TL lock to clear stress. Ultimately you end up with a free K-turn with no downside and no stress and a stressed enemy. Very nice.

I've been very curious about this build of Porkins with Stay on Target. I've tried him PTL, R5-D8, and Hull Upgrade, to moderate success. He just didn't quite live up to his 35 point cost.

P.S. For fluff reasons I think Porkins should always have a Hull Upgrade. He needs a double-wide X-wing to accommodate his enormous self.

Is there a reason for the Tala over the bandit? With a naked Z and so many named pilots, do you need the slightly increased PS?

Personally, and I'm farthest from an expert, I'd switch Dutch for Y wing and Hobbie for Wedge like you said. I don't think I'd put R2 on so many ships unless you have a reason. If you downgraded The Y and Z, and upgraded wedge, maybe put R2 and PTL on Wedge? He can focus and Target Lock, and then use r2 to burn off the stress?

I think I'd rather use Predator on Wedge than PTL. I know people love it on everything, but I just don't like getting that stress on someone like him. He's going to be a target and will be a target. I think I'd rather be unpredictable with movement and then just take a Focus every turn. Predator works with a K-turn.

I do like Porkins with the double-wide, but wanted to avoid getting him too expensive. I have to admit that I was going with Expert Handling....until I realized that Stay On Target was actually out. I haven't gotten my copy yet as it's tied in with an order for S&V from MM.

I always flew Garvin with Dutch, but in today's crazy Phantom filled world, I think Hobbie is the better wingman for Dutch.

If you dropped the Tala to a Bandito, you could change Porkins to Wedge + Predator. In case the fat man doesn't work out for you. honestly, Porkins needs more table time, so I say leave him in.
