Gauging Interest in OCTGN/Skype League...

By Lethalhobo, in Star Wars: The Card Game

Since it is store championship season once again and the card pool is fresh, when better than now to start up another OCTGN league?

Ok, honestly, while everything above IS true, I've also accumulated a fair amount of game swag from all of our local tournaments and its time to get rid of some! biggrin.png

I haven't quite come up with the league 'rules' yet, but I think it will be something to the effect of:

1. You earn points, just like you would in a tournament.

2. You can play UP TO 3 matches a week that can be recorded for the league.

3. You can't play the same opponent twice in a row. (matches, not games)

4. There will be a cut to the top 2,4,8 (streamed on Twitch for all to see)...depending on turnout and interest.

5. Both players will have to report the results to the RATC Email account after the game has concluded.

6. You can use any deck you'd like. Once the top cut happens, you would have to lock your decks in.

7. Once I get the reports, a scoring report will be posted once a week for the duration of the league.

Basically taking what Top Tier/MJA did and putting a little spin on it as far as how scoring is done. Those would be the core guidelines, off the top of my head. If there is enough interest, we can iron out the rest....Any Takers?
