Yeah the funny thing was that some of his posts on how the rebels were like the Modern US Army made me laugh since the rebel alliance wasn't that efficient.However he made a nice case for the Empire.

I never actually thought of him as a 'troll' in the original sense - he was too obtuse and single-minded to be deliberately winding us up.

He just had an amazingly one-eyed view of things, to the degree that he alienated his own side, even strongly pro-Alliance types like me. Speaking personally, he was never rude or insulting to me. Some of his posts contained a kernel of good ideas; he clearly knew his history well, but had no idea about the context to put it in. So we'd have the tired old 'Empire = Nazis' argument over and over and over.

Mostly he just ignored what people said or cherry picked things to respond to. His extreme points of view just entertained me.

I started thinking he was possibly bi-polar or something similar. Just when he had completely infuriated me he would come back and make a post that was completely logical and had good points. I accused him of being two people one time then realized I may have indirectly been on to something.

Okay, on a completely different note: Scarecrow Video, the most awesome video store on the planet (yes, they still have them around) is hosting a "get your photo taken" session with Lando himself. 40 bucks to get Billy Dee's autograph on something? Oh hell yes!
