Thread dying? This may help for a change. It went over well once in another forum:

Look around your office/room, wherever your computer is, or typical place you sit when looking at your mobile device* to browse this forum. Describe what is on each wall as you look around the room. Home, work, or both.

I'll start with the home office. Above my desk computer is a small TV mounted on the wall. Also a shelf with daughter's pictures beside a couple 6" Stormtroopers (the new "black" collection). To my right a collection of framed police decorations - patches & pictures, beside a large window looking over the back yard. Beside that, large gun safe. There happens to be a can of pepper spray (better lock that up) and a WotC Scout Walker atop it that I don't recall putting there. Back wall very blank. It's just a closet door. I need to hang something else over there. Last wall has a small Buddhist shrine (wife's) hung up high, exit door, and three of those large movie sized framed posters of Episodes IV-VI (The Darth, Stormtrooper, Yoda ones from the extended edition).

So since this is the OT thread what do y'all think of the new marvel star wars comics? I think Darth Vader is the best series so far and love that he is much more powerful than in previous incarnations. My main complaint is that it seems as If Tatooine is the center of the universe. I want new or non-film planets in the comics. Not the same thing over and over again.

I am loving the comics so far. I'm an avid comic reader and Marvel has put some of their best talent on these books, and so far it shows. Get ready for the artist to change on Star Wars, or for the comic to start getting delayed. John Cassady is notorious for missing deadlines. They usually don't plan for him to be on a comic for long.

As for the Tatooine thing, if they stop dealing with Jabba, it will bother me. It makes sense why they are dealing with him (mostly), so it makes sense why they are on Tatooine. I guess they could have easily created some new character to fill the role Jabba has so far, but they seem intent on referencing the OT, which is fine for now.

Or. . . . too young for Elvis? How about The Nature Boy, Ric Flair! WOOOOOOOOOOO!

I never hated Triple H more than I did just then! And sheesh - miss Raw for a couple of weeks and I completely lose track with all the story lines! Cena vs Rusev? Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns? Seems that everyone is suddenly feuding with everyone else!

Yeah, Fastlane is gonna be awesome.

This system was actually my "favorite" until FFG's Narrative came along. It had some unique stuff in it and played pretty well. It wasn't over deadly, had complete warfare and political rapport systems ("court" combat), and a adversary power slider that allowed you to quickly tweak an opponent's power up or down on the fly to fit your players while making it seem you didn't really tweak at all.

Surprisingly? It's a really good set of rules. Like, seriously, it's one of my favourites.

Just that most of my players prefer sci-fi (which I do too, to be honest, but I like a medieval setting every so often), and so don't want to play it

Yeah, Fastlane is gonna be awesome.

Well, Rusev ended up beating on Cena and several other American wrestlers, so Cena is taking him on at Fastlane for the US Championship. As for Bryan and Reigns, that's down to Reigns winning the Royal Rumble, and then Triple H and Stephanie McMahon saying that, because the Rock got involved at the end of the RR, they weren't sure that he should get to go to Wrestlemania to fight Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They reckoned that both Seth Rollins and Bryan deserved a shot, so those two fought (with Bryan beating Seth), and then Bryan and Reigns fight at Fastlane to see who gets to go to Wrestlemania to fight Brock Lesnar for the Championship.

And it sounds a lot less cool when you write it out to explain it, instead of watching overly-muscular guys pretend to hit each other,
