Chaos Cards currently have B-wings. Unfortunately, they are trying to gouge us for £20.00 + p&p so they can stick 'em where the sun don't shine imho.

As part of that same order, I bought a B-Wing for $13.45 usd, along with a bunch of other ships I couldn't find elsewhere, each for 10% less than MSRP - UPS dropped them on my doorstep on the 16th.

I just checked, and as of today, they still have B-Wings.

Thanks. Managed to grab one. Even with international shipping it still works out cheaper than buying from Chaos Cards.

I had ordered 6 ships (a, b, x, tie, tie adv, mill fal) for $88.21usd + $5.31 tax, and got free shipping for a grand total of $93.52.

Unfortunately, shipping across the pond is probably never free, right?

I had ordered Slave I ($22.91) from them as part of the same order which is probably how I got free shipping in the first place (over $100), but they shipped that separately (still free, though)

Anyone else got a nasty surprise about their wave 6 preorder price suddenly increasing?

Before you misread my post, I totally understand why it happened for an online store in Canada. The exchange rate is radically dipping (not in our favor) because of the current economic state, gas prizes being really cheaper, etc. It makes sense for a Canadian store to react this way in order to not take a brutal hit from which it would not be able to recover.

This being said, it hurts me too because I put in a large order that I'm sharing with a friend, to save on shipping costs (no shipping at > $200). Now, my preorder still lists the old price, but plastered on their website is a warning everywhere that preorder prices are subject to change.

StarVipers: were 15.95, new price at 18.95

M3-A: were 11.95, new at 11.95

Aggressor: 22.95, now 27.95

Most Wanted: 30.95, now 37.95

my total order was 3 SV, 3 M3-A, 2 Agressors and 2 Most Wanted

old total was 191.50, new total is 230.50, a $39 difference.

I'll pay up, but it kinda sucks that the difference is worth a little more than 2 small ships.

I remain confident that the boat will arrive tomorrow, both in Europe and America (and who knows where else - anyone here from Africa or Asia?), they'll be unloaded, shipped to Amazon and Amazon will get them shipped to us by the end of the day, and we'll have them on Friday.

I will say that I did get some unexpected cash and am able to get more.....but I'm not sure if I should. I have ordered:

1 Most Wanted

2 Scyk's

1 Star Viper

I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to order just one Aggressor or not. Or should I get another Star Viper and some more Scyks? I really do want to do a 5 Scyk list. Is one Aggressor worth it? Or do you really need 2 to make a list work?

Yeah, I'm not that into Interceptors. They just seem like easy buttons.

I did realize that I'll need 3 Accuracy Correctors if I want to do my "The Most Advanced List" idea. It's 3 generics with AC and Vader. So, I threw on another Starviper and an Aggressor. Oh, and threw in another Scyk.

I'd say one Aggressor is well worth it. Ive only got the one Aggressor on order with two Scyks, a Starviper and Most Wanted. Without the IG-2000 shenanigans, it's still a very capable ship, all 3s and 4s in stats, with a very nice dial (which includes Segnor's Loops), the ability to boost, target lock, evade and focus. Add being a large ship to all hat, for increased movement speed and blocking potential, and some resistance to being ioned, and even just the 36 points to field it gives you a very nice ship. Then, it can take a host of upgrades, with cannons, bomb slot, the very useful system upgrade, EPT and illicit upgrade slots. All that means if you're not fielding the two you could to take full advantage, you could equip it with a host of upgrades to suit you, and have a fair amount of wiggle room for the rest of the list. Having two lets you try interesting combinations of two ships with two pilot abilities, true, but obviously taking up more of your list, whether you want to upgrade both or fill in the gap with another ship.

All that's not even mentioning the great pilot abilities open to the IG-88 line, which you can still take advantage of without having two of them on the one ship.
