Fairly new to the game, but S+V has me all giddy. This is something i've been thinking about for a bit.

Basic premise is to come in blazing on the first round and immediately Kturn/loop and make the enemy chase me. IG88 will be a big road block and pretty much go where I want him too, while still possibly dishing out damage with Lasers and allow Kath to go to town with Intimidation.

Kath will lazily float with green maneuvers and get free target locks with possible focus, with the ability to boost if things get hairy or need to get in arc. HLC is to deter people trying to joust her and for the first round of shooting.

I was thinking of swapping the Ion Cannon on IG to a seismic charge instead. Good swarm defense, as I think a swarm would be my biggest problem. See a lot of 2-3 high PS lists in my area, so IG can block effectively but swarms can run around him, a bomb making it harder for them.

Thoughts?

I think the HLC on Kath is a waste of points. If you are only going to use it once or twice on Kath, I rather throw it on the IG-2000.

I don't know if using the IG-2000 as a blocker the best use of the ship. It seems like it would die too quickly trying to get in close and mix it up. Kind of expensive to use it like that.
