Is there any options for this to be used sucessfully? How about Dutch with his normal R7-T1 and an Ion or AutoBlasters?
But does this title overide the turrents ability they both say the opposite about firing Arcs.

BTL A4 is designed to fix turrets in a forward position, and thus negates the turrets ability to fire outside firing arc.
Edited by StephenEsvenThe BTL-A4 Y-wing was a one-man ship, so there's no one to operate the turret. The title basically locks any turret weapon so that it only fires in the standard weapon arc forward and not outside it. The bonus is you get two attacks per turn against anyone inside your firing arc.
R7-T1 has nothing to do with this, and it doesn't hamper Dutch either, so I'm not sure what you're asking there.
Sorry they were seperate questions. First one what is a good build for this. Second is why does the the title overide the turrent? Both have wording that contradicts each other Im just wondering why the title takes precedence
Fluff-wise, by adding the title you're changing the model to the single seat variant and locking the turret forward.
Game-wise, if you don't take the title, then you can shoot outside of the arc. So the title would overrule the weapon card. And I know I'd rather have two attacks per round instead of one, even if it is 360 degrees.
Edited by ParravonYes I understand this but where is the rule that says the title overides the turrent? One says cant shoot out of arc the other says can?
Core rule book p20
If one card ability forbids an effect, while another ability allows it, the effect is forbidden.
That's the one I was thinking of. I was on my phone, so I couldn't look it up at the time.
@theDestroyer00: I take it you were wondering if you took the title to get the second attack, then the turret would let you shoot outside your arc?
Ok no worries it does make sense fluff wise
