There's a local tournament coming up where they will be raffling off a pre-order of Most Wanted, and one of the ways to get a ticket into the raffle is to have a squad with at least two of the HWK, Y-Wing, or Z-95 Headhunter in it. Could be two of any one ship, or one each of two different ones, or more, even.
I've come up with a list I like, but wanted to see if the community at large could help craft something that will be fun to fly -- but doesn't necessarily have to be a top flight contender -- using some combination of these ships.
Let's see what your creative juices can come up with!
Help me build a squad with a HWK, Y-Wing, and Z-95
Jan Ors (25)
Predator (3)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
Kyle Katarn (3)
Shield Upgrade (4)
Horton Salm (25)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
R2-D6 (1)
Outmaneuver (3)
Airen Cracken (19)
Predator (3)
Hull Upgrade (3)
Total: 98

Just something I whipped up. Everything PS8, actions freed, Jan getting a focus or two each turn. Maybe not the strongest possible, but should be different at least.
I like it. Maybe throw Dutch in there instead of Horton to hand out free target locks, then switch one of the turrets to a Blaster Turret to help with the low damage output? Dutch and Airen could make sure whichever ship has the Blaster Turret gets a Target Lock and a Focus to help maximize the damage there. Also frees up three more points that I could use on something like Ion Torpedoes for an extra bit of damage/control alpha strike.
Don't forget that as long as Jan is alive either of the other two shoots at three dice with the primary, whoever has the best shot.
There's no repositioning, but you should be able to ion the main target and who needs repositioning after that? .
If you do go Dutch, R7-T1 is beckoning.
You may find better but you could remember some variation of the 666 builds featuring Kyle, Dutch, and Garven. There can be a lot of action action there.
my thoughts of things that might be fun are:
Jan Ors
Blaster turret
Rec Spec
32
Wedge Antilles
Predator
R2-D2
Shield Upgrade
Flachette Torpedoes
42
OR
Corran Horn
VI
FCS
R2-D2
42
2x Tala Squadron Pilots
26
Total 100
The Jan/Wedge combo continues to be one of my favorite HWK lists, however, Corran Horn might be equal to Wedge as far as abilities go.
Just my thoughts, take it or leave it.
"Dutch" Vander — Y-Wing 23 Blaster Turret 4 Flechette Torpedoes 2 Flechette Torpedoes 2 R7-T1 3 Shield Upgrade 4
Kyle Katarn — HWK-290 21 Push the Limit 3 Blaster Turret 4 Lando Calrissian 3 Shield Upgrade 4 Moldy Crow 3
Lieutenant Blount — Z-95 Headhunter 17 Wingman 2 Assault Missiles 5
This might be fun. If the dice gods are with you Kyle would be a real menace.
Edited by TrubbleHere's a squad of 10's for you.
Horton Salm + PT + PT + R2-D6 + VI + Ion Turret
Cracken + VI + Cluster Missile
Jan Ors + VI + Blaster Turret + Recon Specialist + MC
Everyone moves and shoots on 10 for you. Horton shooting with a TL + a Focus is just a bad ass when it comes to PT. With Jan and Cracken supporting him he'll be dropping ships. Cracken with Clusters is just fun. Shooting at 10 will help him get these off, which should be good against Decimators and Falcons.

I really like this list. This is one I just have to try.
Should be enough firepower at high pilot skill to take on most things.
If needed ion a phantom and then hit it with all you got.
