It took some time, but the New Goblin Slinger and Cattle-Rider summary cards have been posted by Fantasy Flight.
Small changes that will give your opponent something new to think about ;-)
Enjoy!

Thanks for getting these out there - I really like the balance of the Cattle Riders with the changes.
Thanks Richard! Can you just hang out here every day and feed us Battlelore tidbits? It is always a good day when we new Battlelore info rolls out.
I, too, want to express my gratitude to you, Mr. Borg. It must be frustrating for you waiting on FFG to get things rolling. I'm sure you are itching to let us all know what is coming in the (hopefully) very near future. Thanks a bunch.
From Zero to hero !!!!
LONG LIVE FFG !!! Bl hitpoints back to maximum.
Thanks Richard! Great game! I will try out the new rules this weekend.
Any chance we will see a few official online scenarios produced while we wait for the next expansion? Maybe ones that involve the slingers and cattle riders? I think that would go a long way toward satisfying the masses while we patiently wait and would be easy enough for you and/or FFG to do.

The masses, will soon have many new experiences, most will take BattleLore to a new level.
I know, I have said this prior... but please be patient, all things are now very close and they are VERY real.
We are all about to take a giant step together. This step will IMO will provide all with many more hours of BattleLore battling enjoyment.

Any chance to release that two cards in the other official languages of battlelore?
Hello! This is my first posting on this new Battlelore site (I've posted quite a lot at the old Days of Wonder site but have since grown a bit quieter.
I 've bought neither of these two expansions (only have the base game + CtA) but by reading at the announcement it is not clear to me whether that's a flaw at the original design that's fixed now or some sort of variant or specialist card. If the former, does that mean that future prints of the expansions in which these units feature will bear the new, "fixed" statistics ?

My understanding is that these cards represent the designer's intent for the units, but either through error or intentional modification DoW went with different abilities. Basically the Cattle Riders could only move two hexes regardless the card ordering them, and did not have the +1 d on the bonus attack. The Goblin Slingers did not fire at +1 d when foregoing the movement phase.
I'm also interested in knowing if future prints of the respective expansions will have the "new" or "old" cards.
And, welcome back, C-W
Had an opportunity to try out the new cards this morning. Played a game using the "Attempted Breakthrough" adventure - though it was against my favorite "Medevial Lore Rules-only" partner, so the wild and crazy was tempered a bit.
Neither the Slingers nor the Cattle Riders got to strut their new-found abilities much (slingers fired 3d twice, a cattle rider unit got to move three on a Mounted Charge, but missed a couple opportunities for the 4d bonus attack - 5d, in fact, on the MC play), but certainly they had to be accounted for in a higher priority way than before.
Excellent set-up, that adventure by the way. Highly recommend it to those looking for a busy, action-packed game fraught with tough decisions. Even if "only" playing Medieval Lore Rules
Played another round of Attempted Breakthrough, and this time none of the "new" abilities came into play. But that was because the red banner bag pipes blew the gobbos away in this one...

Same here! We tried this scenario and the bagpipes were devestating! I never realized how powerful they can be until I considered that 50% of the time they are going to hit and, if the opposing units have nowhere to run, then they will be killed.
We played a session of Attempted Breakthrough last night. Would you believe the final score was 8 to 1?
The goblins ruled the night! I guess that can happen when the red scottish bagpipes roll a total of zero "hits" with two separate attacks. I thought my goblins didn't have a chance. . . now I know they are destined to rule the world!

Gives new meaning to "blow" for bagpipes....LOL
And yes I know the cards are available for download and all, but can anyone tell us if they will be available as an actual item - to keep the summary cards the same??
Am curious.

I'm growing less enamored with the new Goblin Slingers. I'm not keen on having a green unit that can regularily dish out 3D. Just feels broken that way. And spiked shot just doesn't seem like it'd be as dangerous as an arrow. <shrug> No problems with the Cattle Rider changes yet.
I rather like the balance presented by "spiked shot". In order to benefit from the additional die, have to place the slingers in typically precarious positions. The relatively short range more than offsets the stationary bonus, in my opinion. Longbows are still far superior, I would put the slingers on about equal ground with the Common Bow units.
Cool. I can hardly wait to give the cards a try but I am far more interested in what is coming down the line for Battlelore. I can hardly wait for Heroes and I can only dream of what is coming next. Battlelore, I am ready to open my wallet for you.
have these cards been released or dose the common person that already owns these exp. have to print them out?
Thanks for your help.
You have to print them.
Is there a chance that they will ever be "released" on card stock so that they "match" what we all already have?
I was also wondering about these cards:
Dwarven Cattle Riders Unit Card (PDF, 2.2MB)
Goblin Sling Weapon Card (PDF, 2.1MB)

I thought those were the cards we were talking about...
Yes those are the card that we are talking about. I want to know if they will ever be “officially released” so that they look and fell like they belong with the game.
