This is a post that continues on my "profile database: famous people" post, except focusing on those who are a lot like player characters. You simply copy down a profile you made, to make things easier for all GMs. It could save a lot of time in profile making. These can be used as a rival, competitor, or ally to the players. The point is, they could very well be a PC. Here is my example:

He played the role of an experienced mercanary who is a little crazy, and I used him as an ally for my rookie PCs.

Any Adversary ranks? This is a character that someone used before or just a concept?

This is a character that I created and used as an ally for the players, so I did not use adversary. He was primarily a way to divert some fire away from the players. He ended up getting knocked out in a battle with snipers, but he made them seem much more deadly. He is just an NPC that I created for my debut adventure.
