Game Trade Magazine updates website with Raider article

If I squint really hard, do I see the Raider at PS 5?

What if Moff J and Palpatine are on the same ship? That's an interesting conversation to have with the emperor telling him he has to get thrown off to flip a crit over...

Eh, not like it'll be the last time an underling throws him to his death.
He isn't dead...he simply surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together. He may have been struck down but he's has become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

Nope! In order to become a force ghost, you need to have died while in tune with the living force.

Correct. No immortality for adherents to the dark side. Not really.

Well that's stupid...for a concept that seems so obsessed with balance that seems awfully imba.

That's because some people are dumb and take "light side" and "dark side" literally, assume that each is one half of the force, and that they must be equal.

"Light side" is simply the natural state of the force. It's a river that flows through everything.

"Dark side" is like damming that river, bottling it up inside one person. Palpatine had essentially been doing this for 20 years prior to TPM, which is why he's so powerful and the Jedi can't see anything. Damming disconnects the flow, limiting what can be seen.

Pretty sure it's a 4.

I thought good was dumb...

And that is why evil will always triumph over good.

I think the comment on 6 heavy laser canons should be noted, we might have 6 hard points on the raider.....

Dual HLC's where the original announcement speaks of Turbolasers. Hmm.

Also, more crew that uses energy.

I know you're quoting spaceballs, but...

Evil is much dumber than good.

Evil is the destruction of positive sum relationships, and it is a zero sum, or negative sum view of relationships. This viewpoint leads to the intentional pain of others, and is ultimately self defeating.

Indeed, look at what happened to Sheeve.

Well yes and no. :)

Lightsiders don't get immortality either. To gain immorality, one must become part of the living force, a sort of third way. Those who understand the living force have tamed their passions, rather than suppressed them (Jedi), or let them run free (Sith).

The Jedi are simply much closer to this truth than the Sith are, and so are able to achieve it more easily.

Frustratingly, this was the dominant theme of the Prequel movies, but Lucas was simply not a good enough writer to actually get the point across. The Clone War cartoon did a much better job at it (with it's last arc), and Rebels is picking it back up again.

I don't trust JJ Abrams to carry it through, though. He'll contradict it just because it looks pretty to do so.
