Is Wave 7 the next announcement or more Raider Info?

Wave 6 went on the boat on Dec 16th, that means we're likely to see it in Mid Feb.

I think the more important question is when is wave 8?

Joking aside, I would bet on seeing a wave 6.5 before wave 7. Something in the vein of rebel/imperial aces, possibly for scum to bring them more in line with other factions. As for the timing, could be a while, since the Raider previews are also on the table.

I wouldn't hold my breath on any big push to get them in line with the other factions. FFG doesn't seem to feel a huge need for parity in the number of ships per faction.

If it were up to me though... I'd love to see an expansion of S&V Z-95's and Y-Wings, even if it's just the same exact cards in the MW box. Ideally a S&V repaint of the HWK and Firespray would be nice too.

I think the next few previews will be S & V in depth preview, like the lists they recommend.

That's a nice idea, but every new SCU is something to be printed before reprints of something else. Had the Aces boxes (for instance) never been created, we would probably not see shortages of Falcon boxes.

Saying that, I wouldn't mind seeing a consolidation of the Z-95, Y-Wing, etc stuff into a single SCU for each ship. No new material, just one box for all my Y-Wing needs.

I am sure that here is more to spoil on the Raider before we see a 6.5 or 7 discussion.

I actually suspect the next new product to be announced will be the second Imperial epic ship.

The next announcement was the Imperial Raider epic expansion pack. After that, who knows but it will be some time after Wave 6 is in the stores and some time when FFG releases more information on the Imperial Raider product.

Amazon in the UK are showing the 22nd of January as the date S&V will start shipping. An in-depth preview the Monday before it's in the shops would make sense.

They already said at the bottom of the IG-88 article to keep your eyes out for more wave 6 articles, including a wave overview by Alex Davy. That's next, then mabey raider, then right after wave 6 hits we get a 6.5/7 article, like when they released the wave five one right after wave 4 dropped

Given FFG's release structure the Raider is 6.5.

Scum will be live for regionals. Raider probably will be live for nationals/worlds.
