Without a Care?

By Da_ghetto_gamer, in UFS General Discussion

So now that Olcadans is officially gone after the 1st does anyone think that without a care will see more play in place of it?

it basically does the same thing except its a free enhance that only works if your attack deals damage and cant trade for anything with less difficulty.

But i still believe it has some power i ran it in my darkness blade Nakoruru deck back before all the characters cycled and her promo was still legal

You're right.

Nobody cares about this card.

well without a care is a nifty card for only death which have alot of negation which allow you to control your rival foundations which would give you the advantage.as soon i get me a playset of knight breakers i'm leaning towards death when the new bans arrive.

I hear it's kinda good in Nakaruru >.>

The fact that it strictly replaces committed foundations with ready ones is really a mark against it. Come to think of it, it would be an excellent tool to kick Forethought's ass, though. Oh, you hacked me but didn't quite hack hard enough, and I'm playing a throw? Take this useless Oral Dead instead...

Again..... Nakaruru+ Without a Care+ Shadow Blade+ Father Bull= Potential three commited foundations+ three blown up ones. That's not counting any Program Malfunctions and Chinese Boxings she uses. Seems like Water can deal with this stuff quite well :D

I've only met him once, but I've always liked the way B-Rad thinks ^^

I've never met him, but I can agree with the second part of that

without a care could definately see play in death.

Maaaaybe. In death control. But then death control doesn't play a lot of attacks.

Death aggro doesn't have room for another 2-diff foundation with no block, not when Intimidating Presence, Unstoppable Warrior, Perfect Sense of Balance, Destiny, Free Will, Trapped in a Nightmare, All Life is Prey, and Ka Technique (+3 is close enough to no block to not-count :b) are all vying for that same spot and do more than just rearrange things while losing board position... and help bait blocks, I guess.

It's just not a very good card, unfortunately.

It does not have a block. It only works during your attacks (which severely limits its scope). It only destroys committed foundations, and replaces them not just with ready foundations, but only of a certain difficulty.

It had its heart in the right place, but Olcadan's overshadowed its existence. Even with Olcadan's gone, WaC is exactly what it sounds like: wack.
