Alrighty, so with Scum My Firespray will be taking all scum use. I am also purchasing an Escort shuttle from shapeways to stand in as an imperial firespray, as aesthetically it makes more **** sense. Of course I'll need new bases/stands?

What's the best bet?

Some of the Shapeways guys(I know Melsminiatures) have designed bases/pegs that will work for casual play(which is all you'll ne using your custom ship in anyway.)

Yeah i think i'll get some when i get another stormtrooper transport. I got the models but wanted to look at the tooling etc before getting bases from there.

Litko makes some good ones also they are available from miniature market.

Star Trek Attack Wing sells spare base packs and while they are not exactly the same size as X-Wing bases, I am told that they do fit the ships and should be fine for casual play.
