I wouldn't say that "most" of WEGs info is decent - a lot of the weirdest and most illogical things, particularly in the starships category, come directly from WEG, or authors copying them.

Although to be fair to them, the waining days of the eighties had nothing to work from aside from seven books, 3 movies, some action figures, a holiday special and 107 comics to work from. They had to eyeball a LOT of stuff - so I'll let stuff like the Executor being vastly undersized slide.

Really, I was thinking more about the 50 identical turbolasers on a ISD, an anti-gravity society limiting vessel cargo by the ton, dimensions that don't fit their own artwork or deckplans and week to month long hyperspace jumps.
