yeah it looks good but like most Empire only crews FFG felt inclined to screw us with a handicap(take 2 dmg to deal a crit,Range 1, get a stress etc.).

I use Kath and Rex a lot so I combined them into a squadron with FO and gave it a spin. I lost but I feel I lost more because of my lack of game time than anything over bad with the list. I recently upgraded and tinkered with it a bit so maybe I'll get lucky next time.
In my Decimator Shuttle list I had Oicunn activate FO, give himself and Yorr a focus, and then Yorr takes the stress. Yorr then does a green move. No more stress and he's free to take a Target Lock or Boost! 
When I first saw it I thought it would be great when paired with Rexlar and Lone Wolf, (then of course a little while later it dawn on me that you don't get both benefits lol) but the Tried and true Rexlar+Predator would probably be a good partner.

problem with shuttle fleet officers is that the shuttle goes too fast and never has a shot anymore.
id put it on yorr, cuz he doesnt care if he has a shot or not. area effect.
on the other ships its really not that great, you could do better things.
decimator might be a decent option, but i think its just not worth it.
Another option is AdvS + FO on a Sigma.
Dial-wise it has an easier time supporting and staying in formation with a mini-swarm. It also has the option to stay cloaked behind 4 Agility.
In comparison to an OGP it's a cost increase of 4pts.

It did well. Rexlar with two focus tokens is a bad, bad man against things with more hull than shields, though he still greatly dislikes blank results. Took out a Leeto/Chewie combo, and beat a Bounty Hunter/Kenkirk duo on time. I just slow-played the shuttle so he could try to keep something in arc while feeding the tokens to the two heavier hitters.
OGP + AdvS + FO allows you to clear the Stress provided you selected a Green Maneuver.
I do think OGP would be better use on a shuttle than a decimator because of the point cost of a decimator. You can fit more TIEs with a shuttle then with a decimator. All those TIEs will benefit from an additional focus token. So you can then evade + focus or double up on focus.

I'd guess it won't be allowed on the raider at all, kind of like Navigator isn't. I can't see them letting someone use a crew no a ship that gets to ignore the cost of using that crew.

Honestly, Fleet Officer is probably my favorite wave 5 card. I bought a second Decimator just so I could have two of them. It REALLY opens up the Imperial design space.
I made a 125 point list with jendon, weap eng, fleet officer, FCS and EU, then put 3 gammas loaded up with a long range and short range missle on each. this will allow at least 1 target lock and 2 focuses passed per turn. This really helps the gammas achieve TL and focus, but does require flying in formation. FWIW, I think this setup is too expensive in a 100 point list, and it does limit the movement of the shuttle a lot. One the distance closes, and the missles are gone, then I would probably not use it much so the shuttle can manuever.

Eh, I'd just shoot the Shuttle first. Unless you got some nastier named Ties like Mauler or Backstabber. But a bunch of generic Ties don't get much of a boost from FO.

I don't think that's feasible at the moment. The only ship that'd be able to do it would be Jendon with a Fleet Officer and Experimental Interface, but he'd take two stress every time he does it. You could also use a Squad Leader to instead of EI, or a Wingman to clear stress, but but then you're really spending a lot of points on a very particular gimmick.
Looks like he only used Flight Officer once in that. The color coded tombstones and target lock templates were pretty cool though.

If there was a cheaper than shuttle (or at least more useful when naked) with a screw slot for imperials, i think FO would has be used to boost bombers or Rexler Brath.
Not crazy about it but maybe on a shuttle in a swarm list with a BSP+Wingman, something like:

Howl+Stealth
BSP+Wingman
BSP+DTF

Howl is getting a focus and evade every turn that both ships have an action, everything else is working like a normal swarm.

ok...so if the whole point is to give Howlrunner focus and evade every turn, why not just use that nice shiny unused EPT and put PTL there. the BSP wingman draws her stress and then you've got the space for another 2 APs...doesn't that seem like a far better idea than trying to keep a swarm tight with a space cow?

Systems upgrade targeting doohicky (forgetting its name) will give you the free target locks.
It doesn't need EI.
Seems like a Decimator made card (and was included in the box). After all, it has no reds and doesn't really care about focus so it can hand both out wherever. Of course maneuvers will be limited, but as a 360 turret it gives the least of a ****.
Imo, the shuttle's way too plagued by its dial/the stop is way too good a maneuver. Imo, it's much better as either a buzzsaw or vader to be as action-independent as possible.
The Firespray has a rear arc to abuse, and it can't do it nearly as well if it's being limited to its four green maneuvers.

That is creative. Run the Sigma attached in a loose formation. You can easily have 2 focus and an evade on Howl. Stress will be an issue but it would be kind of fun to run. It can throw quite a bit of modified dice.

Brath was untouched the majority of the game due to stacked focus and the RGP often had focus and evade stacked.
I deployed the shuttle in the middle and used it to screen the other ships in the opening rounds. Keeping it in the middle also kept it close to the action and it was able to pass focus every round.

Kir Kanos with Autothrusters might actually work well in this list in place of the RGP. His extra damage is just as situational as the RGP's but doesn't come with the baggage of getting a stress token.
Fleet Officer lets your ships have a focus in some situations where they wouldn't otherwise have one.
I hadn't played in over a month taking me out of the local meta loop. So for fun at our weekly tourney I ran this:

Hind sight I would make some changes to this list, but being able to to make course changes and the wonky barrel roll and still have a focus was great. Except during the game I lost I had Tetran change course to arch dodge a mini swarm that
k-turned to get a range one shot on Howl Runner with a focus and roll 4 blanks. 
I will say this about Oicunn it felt really great killing Farlander with a ram.
