Android Squad Builder: X-Wing Squads Manager

By dmborque, in X-Wing

I'd like to introduce the Android squad building app that I have been developing for some months now.
It is called X-Wing Squads Designer and you can grab it from Google Play or download it directly here.

Apart from the obvious characteristics that you expect in an app of this kind:

- It includes a complete library of all pilots and upgrades, with images (in English and Spanish for now).
- It includes information of all expansions released and announced, with all the cards, ships and tokens included in each one.
- You can manage your collection, specifying how many copies of each expansion you own, and even managing each element individually (for those cards/tokens that you exchanged, bought or lost).
- Taking into account the elements in your collection, the app warns you if you are missing a ship of a card to build a given squad (this characteristic may be activated or deactivated by the user).
- The app includes information on promotional material: tokens, alternative-art cards, trophies... and you can keep an account of how many you own.
- You can import/export squads from/to other web-based squad builders, like Voidstate's X-wing Squad Builder, YASB or Fab's Squadron Generator.
- You can share your squads with other users (for example using Whatsapp).
- You can exchange squads with other users, generating xws files that they can import.

- You can import/export your squads as QR codes.
- You can use it in English, Spanish, French or German.

The app is completely free (though donations to support its development are welcome).

You can also follow this app in Twitter (@XWSquads), Google+ and its thread in the Spanish forum Escuadrón Pícaro, and post your comments, proposals for new features...

Enjoy it!
David

This is the builder I use. It is the awesome. I can keep track of my collection, review all the cards, and very really export the list to clipboard to share here or elsewhere.

Long time lurker, first time poster... but I have to give props to David. I've been using this app for a while now and recommend it to everyone I know. The best thing is even if you notice a bug or glitch, it's usually fixed in the next release and he's constantly keeping it up-to-date and improving things. Keep up the AWESOME work!!

I've started to use it for my phone, since the cool web pages don't port well.

Very nice. Thanks.
