Difficulties being increased

By Church7, in UFS Rules Q & A

I had a legacy deck idea recently, and combining a while combining a few cards I found a good idea, yet I don't even know if it works at all, because there are a few possible outcomes from this.

The cards are as follows:

During an attack I am playing, doesn't matter which one, but I E on this attack to see that the top card of my deck is Freezing Execution, so when I attempt to play my next card this turn, I R Commit with No Quarter to switch the difficulty and control of the attack, but since floating effects come in first, the secret projects I have out would make it a 12 difficulty card, but would the secret project STAY on the difficulty, as in, the check becomes 8, not 12, with the difficulty being 6, as I think it would be in either scenario? There's also the fact that No Quarter says before the check, so would Secret Project have an opportunity to change it, even though it is static and such?! Can someone help me on this one, I'm confusing myself.

No Quarter says before the control check is made, switch.

While you used Skullduggery, and you know what the values on the top card are, the game doesn't "remember"

So the 8 & the 2 get swapped before the card is revealed. The 2 becomes a 6 because of the secret projects.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

For what it's worth, they're all effects that resolve about the "same time" on the revealed card for the check, so you should be allowed to resolve them in an order of your choosing.

Should probably ask James, though.

Already did.

Thank you, that's what I thought but I really wanted to make sure.
