Always been a marvel fan boy, and a joss whedon fan so I'm really stoked for this movie.

I loved the Ironman saga and Avengers would have been Mehhhhh for me if Tony Stark was nott in it...The new armor in AOU is specifically designed to take on the Hulk and go into space...The new characters will compliment the movie lol...

Still wish we were getting some story and character development. But to be fair, the first Avengers film trailers were pretty much exactly the same, and I quite enjoy the final product.

Quick re-Cap of the Avengers...

The original comic lineup for the Avengers was Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp (who gave the team its name).

Hulk left a couple issues in, and basically was not an Avenger again until the movie came out five decades later. He was replaced by Captain America, long time member and leader, followed by Wasp as the next most common team leader.

About a year into the run, the original team basically disbanded and a new team was formed around Cap and three former criminals, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch. These are the two new characters shown so prominently in the trailers.

About a decade later, the Black Widow would join the team. Another former criminal, having been a Russian industrial spy and saboteur, and frequently clashing with Tony Stark.

Oh no, Fox owns "mutant", lock stock and barrel. Marvel got in huge trouble with the old Mutant X tv series. So, that is why Marvel has been introducing alternate terms for them to be used.

I was just blazing through a article and I swear that they have it set up that the will call quicksilver "quicksilver" in the avengers movies but in x-men the viewers will only get to here is real name. I don't know... I was more intrested in seeing if wolverine and spider-ham will be in a marvel paramount film.

Now for sure I did read that sm2 bombed so bad sony has been in talks with marvel to allow sm to be in the avenger movies, maybe even cap 3. I love it that the guy that plays as wolverine wants to be in avengers. His wolverine is the only wolverine I like. I just did see why people like the comic version or other medium

That new spiderman was like watching 90210 on costume night...Was all hyped up to see the Rhino plowing through walls and caving in buildings...What a freakin waste...Having Wolverine pop into Avengers would be sweet , as long as he has the Adamantium In his claws...Spiderman would have to be someone new , and have suit that fits lol...

How bout doctor Strange? Didn't he get name dropped in "The winter soldier"?

Now if we can just Doc Strange, Ghos trider, Blade together and throw in Morbius and the Darkhold then we can finally get a Midnight Sons movie! yeah!

I'm a little too old school, being a 70-90s comics fan, and my Avengers (and Fantastic Four for that matter) teams don't include Wolverine or Spider-man.

Wasp, the second longest tenured Avengers team leader behind only Captain America, is someone I would love to see in an Avengers film. Same with She-Hulk, the only Hulk I think of as an Avenger (Hulk is a Defender to me).

Of course, I'm still hoping we finally get Hawkeye in one of these movies, and not that brooding Green Arrow longbow hunter wannabe we keep getting. Give me the wise cracking grand stander from the comics wearing his bright purple costume anyday over what we keep getting.

Fox used the Quicksilver name in promotions, so that is a false rumor.
