Just wondering - are titles considered to be modifications? Looking at the IG-2000 as an example. Would I be able to equip the title AND Autothrusters?

Titles are Titles, Modifications are modifications. So yes you could equip both.

Titles, Modifications, Elite Pilot Talents, Secondary Weapons are all forms of Upgrade cards. Sometimes people use the word Modification to describe them but that isn't correct.

Titles are not Modifications. A ship may have one Title and one Modification.

For modification and titles it says on the card what it is. Every ship can equip modification and one title. So all ships are considered to have a single modification slot and a single title slot.

Also upgrade cards have the symbol of what slot it fills on the back.

The Royal Guard title gives interceptors two modifications. But titles and modifications are two different things.
