does Elite Imperial Officers EXECUTIVE COMMAND ability count as an attack?

By widgren, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

can I use the SPECIAL ACTION EXECUTIVE COMMAND and make an attack? imperial-officer-elite.png

Each figure gets one attack per activation. In other words, this limit only applies during that figure's activation or turn. Since the officer is ordering outside of the other figure's turn, it does not count toward the one-attack limit.

See page six, top of the left-hand column of the Rules Reference Guide:

"- If an ability allows a figure to perform an attack outside of
its activation, this attack does not count toward the limit of
one attack per activation."

Yes the officer still can Attack as he has not attacked he has used a special action.

Woops. Totally misread the post. Thanks, Toqtamish.

So, can the officer use that ability twice in one turn on the same target?

No. Special Actions can only be used once per activation.
