So I have been thinking and I'm kinda disappointed in most wanted

Now I totally understand the appeal of most wanted with all the extras ffg have put in the box that they really didn't need to

But... I kinda wish they had put the firespray in a separate expansion

I personally don't use y-wings or hwks at all and I very rarely use z-95s

So for me I would have liked a repaint firespray with the new pilots etc in a different box

If I want to run 2 fire sprays at the moment I need to buy two firespray expansions and 2 most wanteds for the 2 generics

Of coarse I will still be buying all the wave 6 stuff, I just wish I didn't need to buy 2 most wanted sets with 6 ships I will rarely use

Just resell them. Me I will need to buy 4 Most Wanted because i want 7 Z95 scum. I wish some people would sell me just the ship/card/dial.

No matter what they do, someone will find it less than ideal.

I get that if you don't like Y's or Z's that MW has little value for you. But it is the best way to go for the bulk of the players.

Ideally they'll offer single ship conversion packs at some point, or perhaps a S&V aces pack, like a Firespray with an alt paint job and S&V dials, pilots, ect...

I am really annoyed that buying the box doesn't allow you to use the Y-wings and Z-95s you already own. LAME!. I was excited for S&V when I thought it was going to give me a lot of cool stuff for what I already have, but now I will probably just buy Aggressors and That Interceptor thing of Xixxor's.

It does... You get an extra Y-Wing dial and enough base cards to use both the S&V Y and a Rebel Y in a S&V list.

At $40, your already getting a pretty sweet deal considering all that comes in the box. More Z-95 dials and cards would increase the cost of the box but be little benefit to anyone who doesn't already own Z-95's.

Actually, most wanted does NOT let you use the Z-95s you already own. It may let you use a Rebel Y-Wing in Scum along with a HWK and Firespray but Most Wanted does nothing to make your previously owned Z-95 useful.

I know this has already been discussed many times but to me Most Wanted could easily have done without extra dials for a Y-Wing, HWK, and Firespray by allowing ships to use the dials they already have. You'd still need the base tokens and pilot cards to use the ships as Scum but it would have made ships a lot easier to track.

Yeah, it's great in some ways (all the stuff it does contain), a bit annoying in others (such as not including Rebel cards and dials to make full use of the models in includes). Still good though.

As has been pointed out many times before. There's perfectly good reasons why this wasn't done. The most compelling IMO anyway, is as a way to future proof things.

If they allowed you to use any dial for the Z-95 because both Rebel and S&V are the same, then they're locked into never changing dials between factions. This way they have the option of releasing a ship with different dials for different factions.

I would not be surprised to see scum single ship expansions for Firespray, HWK, and maybe even Y's and Z's at some point in the future. I will be disappointed if we never have an option for scum YT's of some variety. I enjoy the turret-free zone that is scum large ships now but the YT's just scream scum and villainy to me.
