The idea is that the Gammas and Black Squads have Pilot Skill 4 each. I try to get in a few hits with the seismic charges and Ruthlessnes. Howlrunner hands out a uses Squad leader to help the bombers Focus (or is this not worthwhile and just go swarm tactic?)

i think the squad leader would work fine

i'd watch out with the ruthlessness though especially against 2 ship lists seeing as you have 4 other viable targets you might have to target

I also worry about the danger of hitting yourself with Ruthlessness.

I just built a 2 bomber 2 Black squad list, I gave the BSPs intimidation, and gonna have Jonus, and a scimitar for the bombers.

Might be fun, might get my butt handed to me.. but it should be fun..

I think the original list lacks punch. You can ionize the big ships, but then what? You will still have a hard time hurting it. I'd rather have something that hurts. Maybe Homing Missile or Concussion Missile.

oneway: I think the MF is wasted with the Cluster Missiles. How often do you actually miss with those? Especially with Jonus.

Lol.. man the stories I could tell..mlol.. I have had many many misses, sometime Jonus is there to just mock me.. lol also, if they get separated it's nice to have the fall back. Maybe the opponent has some anti swarm action going on. just a thought. If my dice were reliable I would drop the MF as well.. lol
