So you can get all four of these on the table together in Epic and the final round of an Escalation tournament. In fact, you could run a whole Escalation tournament by adding one ship each round. Maybe not the most sensible approach, but it strikes me as kinda cool.
You'd have to start the first game of it with only 42 points spent or less, that doesn't even get you an HLC on your first one

FFG over-valued the white K-turn. It's the only reasonable explanation. And I mean way over-valued it.

FFG over-valued the white K-turn. It's the only reasonable explanation. And I mean way over-valued it.
FFG also seems to impose a cost penalty for being a large-base ship. They're a lot easier to catch in arc, block their movements, force onto asteroids, etc. Their only advantage is their forward movement speed when boosting or barrel rolling.
The Ion Cannon+FCS with IG88B is going to be a deadly, deadly thing. Where as before you only had one shot to ionize and then deal with the consequences, here you get an even greater chance to control movement.
You can take two Ion shots, one of which is likely to be unaffected by focus or evade tokens (spent attack 1), so it's almost a guaranteed Ion token. If you do that, you can S-Loop and stay behind them and keep Ioning, knowing that you've got a great shot to keep them in front of you.
I really want to get my hands on these - they sound annoying as hell to shake.
While it is clearly a better ship than the Defender in most respects, i do think people are underestimating how hard this ship will be to fly.
Honestly, the large base/front arc only is going to take a hell of a lot of skill and practice to get the most out of.

Why not? Trigger PTL off the free evade action and use that PTL to drop Proximity Mine
Someone competent needs to give them a go and let us know how the perform. They look really good on paper, but Vorpal has a good point. It's basically a beefy engine shuttle with some K options. Alex Davy's comment on it wasn't, "OMG IT'S SO GOOD." It was, "IG-2000 is weird."

Advanced Sensors + Daredevil will be a thing I think. Daredevil left or right then do a green (plenty of them) to clear the stress. Hell if you don't care about the stress, you can execute two hard 1 turns in a row. You can U-turn this thing on a dime!

Agree to compare this ship to lambda is just strange, All these movement options, all these green moves, strange 180 turns, boost by default (and basicly free)

It is nothing like the Lambda at all. Likewise, it's nothing like the Defender and comparing it to that is equally silly. Despite the statline similarity, it is going to fly utterly differently from both.
